Internet Resources

I always start me research on the internet. You can find a ton of information very fast with no cost to do so. It's also a good source for finding the other materials that I use such as books and 3-views. Here is a list of just some of the great resources I found available on the web when researching this project.

Plastic Scale Models

Now here's something different. Before building my 1/5 scale RC model, I decided to find a good plastic scale model and build and paint it first. I couldn't find an A7 model, but a lot of A8 models are available. The differences are subtle and mostly internal, and with the other documentation I have gathered, I will easily be able to identify the differences when the time comes.

I chose a Hasegawa 1/32 scale plastic kit which was pretty accurate and very well manufactured. I completely assembled it and made some of the more obvious modifications from the A8 to A7 variant. I painted it up in the "Black 3" scheme" and it is going to be a big help in becoming familiar with the airframe and getting some practice on painting the scheme I chose.
